VyporX sounds like ( Viper_X )
I’ve been called viporks, vipoor and even asshole if you can believe it.
How did I get the name? I gave it to myself. That’s how.
Back when I was younger (around 8 or 9) my friends and I had “tag” names that we would call each other down the alleyways of Astoria, Queens. My tag was Viper. I’ve grown attached and held on to the name ever since. I used to draw the “viper” snake to showcase my representation of the slithery serpent. As time went on and I got older, the internet boomed and it easily became my name to the world. Of course, Viper was a very common name. It’s name is used on everything from a helicopter to a sports car so I had to be different. I had to stand out. That’s why I changed the lettering to Vypor. Within a year with the new name, tragedy struck and I lost my grandfather.
Do you remember when you were younger and the life you thought you knew was basic and monotonous? All you had to worry about was your friends, homework and what plans you had for Friday night. Then all of a sudden a person very close to you passes away, shattering your world and everything you thought you knew about it. Its called The First Passing. (Yep… I made it up.) Everybody goes through the first passing when they are young. Everybody remembers their first heartbroken death in the family. When my grandfather passed away, it was my first.
I was in high school when this happened. I remember being in total shock. I was in total disbelief. I would stay up late and just jam out to music while sketching on a notepad. Just drawing whatever came to mind. Reality hit me and it hit me hard. This was when I added the X to the end of Vypor. It was just a dark time for me and feels like a fitting name as a constant reminder that life is fragile.
Anyway ::sniff:: so that’s how I got the name. I use VyporX with everything that I do online as my identity. You’ll find me on most social media sites, reddit posts, old web pages and pics that I’ve made when I was a teen and have no idea how to remove them. So embarrassing! If you find something cringy of me, let me know!
Getting back on topic with VyporX.com. Everything is coming along nicely. I’ve added CSS animations to the list of projects that I plan on accomplishing. The list will be displayed soon. I’ll be including my java programs to GitHub really soon and will be cracking down on creating some sweet stuff for the online store. So much to come so stay tuned!
